Hopefully the determination that the two brothers responsible for the bombing at the Boston Marathon were recent immigrants to America will stop the foolish comprehensive immigration reform bill. While of course not all immigrants are going to commit these types of crimes, we should be more honest that the US Government needs to carefully evaluate all the immigrants coming into our country and the massive amnesty of the 20 million illegals without any type of serious background investigations, will just open America up to more terror.
Immigrants, yes, but only the best and the brightest and only after a significant background investigation!

Flood D. C. with letters to this effect and hope they listen better than Obama did to my letter to him. He told me I had an interesting prospective when I wrote to him that he had sworn to uphold all of our laws. I am still reeling on his response. I cannot believe a president would be so lax in his idea that laws do not have to be obeyed.
Our country is not safe as long as politics is more important than our safety. As far as I am concerned immigrants can go "fly a kite."

It doesn't really make sense, considering they are not recent immigrants, nor illegal. They've been here since they were children, legally.
No, I am not making assumptions, my son worked in Afghanistan, my best friends son was on Homeland Security, and I had a teacher in school that taught us this years ago, the MO of a terrorist, and what he taught us, has come to be...and there will be more bombings, for the rest of my life and yours....

I am not saying that you are wrong about sleeper cells being a real thing.
I am saying we don't know yet that THESE PARTICULAR GUYS are part of one, or whether they came to their douchebaggery on their own, later.

I'll let you in on a little secret. I live in the midwest, and half the kids here join the military in order to go to college. You aren't the only person who knows people who've spent big chunks of time in Iraq or Afghanistan, and I could care less what your "teacher" told you in school. Guess what--I have a degree in Political Science. I also have Muslim friends, some of them made after 911 when people had to escort Muslim women to the store because a**hats were threatening them in Walmart and the grocery store. You have no freaking clue what you're talking about, and you should stop now while you're ahead.

I'm sure they must be questioning his parents... I wonder what their deal is
I wonder too, because I read they had military exprience, but no one matching their name has served in US armed forces. Did they go somewhere to get military training, or is the whole 'military training' just an assumption? Did they parents prepare them to become terrorists? Did the older brother talk the yonger into joining him?
