Another reward for anchor children or people that don't follow our rule of law. Another reason why our public school system is struggling & we are constantly picking up a burden on this country. On top of this I can argue most of these parents don't support our school systems. If they did they would learn English themselves & speak it at home to better assimilate. Now they get extra attention.

The majority of people in America can't properly speak English even after having gone through school and being raised in an English-speaking household.

By the way, your post jumps from one point to another so quickly without any transitioning statements to make logical connections between them. Perhaps you could attempt to make substantiated claims.

"Law breaker" is a relative term.

So you are against teaching Americans English? No where in the article did it mention anything about "anchor children or people that don't follow our rule of law." Unless there is something there that I missed.

Bilingual and ESL is K-5. After that it's English only.
That worked for a long time but now you have many entering public school at older ages and they either can't speak or have difficulty with English. I see it in middle schools and in high schools.

You can't ignore it anymore.

Should we, based on the poor exhibition of English skills illustrated by this sentence, assume that you are not a citizen?

Or were you inadvertently trying to prove CNote11's point?

Either way - pot, meet kettle.
