I read a comment by a medic on another forum who said that it was a King airway they were inserting into him and that is never a good sign.

Anyone here in the medical field care to comment ?
I know nothing about medical devices myself.

If he were in that bad of shape then I can see why they didn't do it.

I suggest you all read the following:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miranda_warning

Quote:
Thus, if law enforcement officials decline to offer a Miranda warning to an individual in their custody, they may interrogate that person and act upon the knowledge gained, but may not use that person's statements to incriminate him or her in a criminal trial.

Wow, I must have missed that addendum to the Constitution. Fascinating.

It looked like a C collar with a rebreather mask, which would mean that he was breathing on his own, but it was hard to see from that picture

There is no constitutional right to be mirandized. There is only protection from using information you disclose, against you.

As long as they arent going to bring up what you say in court, or even ask you questions, there is no need to be mirandized.

I have to ask myself how so many people can live in a country, but not comprehend basic 101 of our laws.

You just can't make this kinda crap up.

The point of all this is not "his rights" .... the point is about ALL OF OUR RIGHTS, which disappear the moment his does.
The temperature in Hades just dropped perceptibly, because I agree with GuyNTexas. Well said, that man.

Because it's only the most basic understanding of it.
A mile wide but an inch deep as they say.

Its completely astounding to me that these people dont know this. One would presume we're all adults, so I have to ask myself how people who are governed by laws every single day, dont know even basic laws like mirandizing requirements.
