Wheres all the love? what happened to all those glorious plans and ambitions? The answer is: Democrats got nothing new, same old, same old, negative, angry, pessimistic doom and gloom. If they want to win the white house they need to stop focusing on all this ridicules crap about Bush and Cheney and try to have a little optimism and hope maybe some positive solutions. It will never happen though its just not their nature! National Political News - Voters' views of Pelosi, Congress have dimmed - sacbee.com (http://www.sacbee.com/341/story/456858.html - broken link) Its A no win situation for them since the democrat base went off the far left cliff.........New Congress at war over everything - Patrick O'Connor - Politico.com

the problem is... the democrats are tied in that they cannot pass anything thru the house to change anything. they have a slight majority, but do not have a 2/3 majority, therefore anything that they do try to change gets slammed down by the republican president...
don't point fingers at the new guys... unless you include everything in your argument.. the reality of it is... we are still very much under a republican controlled government

One failure after another ~ and what happened to the "100 Days" that the Democrats were going to foist onto America??? Pelosi pledge a new direction; but she underestimated herself. And this latest big ol' blunder of the Armenian genocide resolution. People should seriously consider her leadership abilities. And to think that she is 3rd in line??

Probably because the present crop of Democrats are virtually identical to the so-called 'morally bankrupt' Republicans.

Anymore; I have little respect for either group.

I'm not defending anyone... but the general public fails to realize how the government works.. they just wanted results. I agree that they promised more than what they could produce, but NOT because they don't have good ideas, its because they have a republican roadblock at every turn... so.. if Pelosi is so bad to be 3rd in line.. consider 2nd and 1st... and "there's yer sign"

don't blame the Dems just take a look in the mirror America. You gave the Dems a 1 vote lead in the Senate and expect change? You get the Government you deserve! Some of you are really naive and as for President Dumbo he seems to like his veto pen ever since the Dems barely took over.

I'd not only favor my veto pen, I'm frame it, brass it, mount it on the wall, then hire my own army to protect it..

Now if only we could get a line item veto, we'd be set..

Please don't short-change the general public. I think the lot of us are pretty keen on our government....And I view it as "Thank God we have Dick Cheney BEFORE Pelosi would every have a shot at it" ~ And you know, boiseguy - roadblocks are usually set-up for our safety. Personally, I appreciate being forewarned of danger up ahead.....
