I bet you remember learning about the "greenhouse effect" in school. It states that when carbon dioxide gets into our atmosphere, it blocks sunlight bouncing off of the Earth, and it causes the Earth to become warmer.

The average American lets out 20 metric tons of carbon each year.
Human beings put 2.4 million pounds of carbon into the atmosphere (every second.)
Carbon dioxide emissions rise to 2.4 million pounds per second - CBS News

Every 2 seconds humans put 4.8 million pounds of carbon into the Earths atmosphere.

But no one knows how this extra carbon, will effect the greenhouse effect on planet Earth.

Global warming could stop deep ocean currents, and cause North America and Europe to freeze (and put over 1,000 feet of ice over North America, 365 days a year.) A Chilling Possibility - NASA Science

There is also frozen "methane gas" under the ice around the North Pole. Methane is a greenhouse gas just like carbon, but methane is 21x more powerful than carbon is. Global warming could melt all the ice on the North Pole and release this methane (and make global warming much, much worse.)

There is also a "unthinkable amount" of frozen methane at the bottom of the oceans.

The above listed things, are only a small percentage of the things, that could change the greenhouse effect on planet Earth.

Default Global cooling replacing "global warming"

It appears as though NASA now feels as though the earth is entering a "cooling phase", which is due to a variety of factors, including decrease solar flare activity and a change in the magnetosphere.

Global Cooling Back In Forecast After IPCC Steers Global Warming Into Iceberg | Veterans Today

Gee.......................... and libs wanted to cover deserts with plastic and flood the atmosphere with Sulfer dioxide in order to "cool" the planet!

Does everyone see now why politics and the OPINION of journalists is not a replacement for valid science?

What do you bet the proposed "solution" is the same. Stop burning fossil fuels, stop driving cars and living in caves. Back to the future, same thing was forecast by the parents of the current crop of AGW fear mongers back in the 70s.

Which seems fitting given the circumstances.

We have been more or less living in the Garden of Edan for about 10,000 years. It looks like we are likely to bake ourselves out with unlimited CO2 production or get frozen out by orbital geometry and solar variance. Fun times ahead.

The solution will be the same. More taxes. That is what all of this has always been about.

You know you could actually go and read what scientists at NASA say rather than relying up Veterans Today to chew your food for you:

So you start out your post with "NASA now feels" but then you want to disregard the fact that NASA supports climate change?

Climate Change: Evidence
What another dumb post. Who denies that the climate is changing? Did you know that over a hundred million years ago, CO2 was 20 times higher than it is today? What caused that? How did those very large creatures get enough oxygen to survive???? Did you also know that the continents weren't in the same places as today? Did you know that? Parts of NASA are drinking the Koolade in order to continue sucking money from the taxpayer, the more honest portions are admitting that humans are not the cause and it is more cyclical in nature as it ALWAYS has been.
