Bunch of uncouth drunk chicks walked into the bathroom at a casino once, while I was mid-stream. They didn't seem to need immediate relief, more seemed like they thought it would be funny. And some wondering eyes, too.

Consider, that from I have read and LEO's I've talked to if an opposite sex intentionally uses another gender's restroom they can be charged with disorderly conduct. I've heard it a charge that typically sticks.
Now, I assume the entire premise of this approach is that the vast majority of people are heterosexual and the private/confined environment of a restroom is a place that could lead to people 'acting out' on sexual impulse (ridiculous theory if it is indeed the original logic) and by keeping them separate the chance for this impulse or voyeurism is nullified.
So, in 2013 we have homosexuality tolerance been force fed down everyone's throat from every angle. With the increase in acceptance, rise of known gays and lesbians amongst us should we continue the logic and create new bathrooms for lesbian/gays?
Here's an interesting observation I made today, which goes along with my earlier comments on the thread. Earlier today when we were closing up the library, one of our pages (employees), who happens to be a gay man, went to shut off the light in the ladies room... a woman/patron standing at the circulation desk didn't know he was an employee, and made a shocked face when she saw him go into that bathroom. She didn't know or consider that he's gay, she only knew that a MAN was going into the ladies room! So as I said earlier, most of us care only about the gender of fellow restroom users - not their orientation, especially considering one cannot tell that from sight alone.
Anyway, that whole incident just made me think of this thread.

Women get away with so much...
Uncouth drunk chicks are in a class of their own.
If you weren't so "shocked" you should have given them a full body turn and redirected your aim. Then you would have been the one laughing and they would think twice before doing it again.

And this thread reminds me of an incident I had.
I met someone in the lobby of a hotel for coffee. Before leaving, I needed to use the ladies room. The bathrooms were located in the back where there was little foot traffic, if any at times. I didn't have my glasses on and had to squint to see which was which as there was no written signage on the plaque, just a little figure. I entered the bathroom which was empty, and headed to the first booth. Upon exiting I was faced with a row of ???? urinals. It took me a moment for it to register where I was because when you entered, facing you was a wall with the basins, and behind the wall were the urinals. While walking around the wall, and laughing, the attendant walked in and his jaw dropped. I apologized - stopped to wash my hands - and left the MENS room. All I could think was thank God a man didn't enter the bathroom while I was in there. Surely it would have been embarrassing for both, while also being funny.
S*it happens. And it can be quite funny when it does.

LOL. I better not, I plan on having kids one day, and would like to be allowed within 500 yards of their school.
