You'll have to ask the "big money people". I don't run in those circles.

...and that is only a couple of examples from one state. Gerrymandering is a practice that needs to be stopped but if you are of the belief Republicans are the only ones guilty of it those have to be some pretty big blinders.
Sure Gerrymander is going on all over. These practices take on a new dem when the TeaParty takes over

This morning on CSPAN3 Shulman had the look of someone who is hanging on to the bumper of the bus, as he is trying to stay alive.

Default More Lies Exposed: IRS Still Targeting Conservative Groups May 6, 2013-White House Knew About Targeting & Didn't Stop It

Carney claimed this week that no one told Obama because the targeting had ended May 2012, so there was no reason to tell him until the investigation was complete.
Granted we already know Carney has lied about so many things. And after telling reporters definitively that no one in the White House knew about it, we have found out that both the Chief of Staff and White House counsel knew in April. The story and timeline change every single day.
But this is one more lie that needs to be called out.

"Without question the IRS misconduct of harassing and abusing our clients was still in high gear from May 2012 through May of this year. The intrusive and unconstitutional questions continued – with the IRS demanding donor lists and even requesting lists of what reading materials that organizations used. To suggest this tactic ended a year ago is not only offensive, but it is simply inaccurate as well."

For example, the IRS office in Ohio focused closely on the structure and workings of the Linchpins of Liberty from Tennessee – demanding answers to intrusive questions – with the most recent letter dated May 6, 2013 – just four days before the IRS admitted that the targeting scheme existed.

So even if you use Carney's timeline, even after multiple people in the White House knew about the illegal targeting, the targeting still continued.

Duh, it's their job to evaluate these requests for fraud. Profiling is a long standing tactic they use. "Lynchpins of Liberty"? They'd be on my short list of orgs needing a thorough look.

What does "to restore and preserve ordered liberty in local communities" mean? What does "ordered liberty" mean? If I received an application from a group stating that this is their goal, I'd be investigating.

It will be good when the GOP gets the TNuts ousted from the party. They served their purpose in 2010, but since have just caused a severe downgrade in positive public opinion.

Poll: Scandals give tea party a boost

With the numbers only going up the more they are proven correct.

Poll: Scandals give tea party a boost

Granted people tend to not like people pointing out that the government is corrupt but when they government does as much as we have seen out of this administration to live up to that accusation, then people tend to begin to understand.

Apparently there’s a poll for everything. A CNN/ORC poll revealed Monday that in the midst of the Internal Revenue Service scandal over targeting those affiliated with the Tea Party movement, the Tea Party group has actually seen their approval ratings rise.
