When discussing the meta-ethics of morality....the way people use the term, colloquially, is implying that they are inherent.

You simply cannot hold this stance without subscribing a higher order or, at the very least, the notion of one.

Ignorance apparently knows no bounds.

Christianity recognizes and believes in GOD. Judaism recognizes and believes in GOD. Islam recognizes and believes in GOD. Buddhism recognizes and believes in GOD. Buddha and mohammed are prophets in their respective religions. They are not the GOD of that religion.

What is happening with this assault upon GOD is the attempt to remove GOD from our society's government. Why would some people want to do that if not for the purpose of removing any semblance of morality associated with GOD?

I stand by my earlier comment that this assault upon GOD is for one and only one reason. That is:

Quote:
Go ahead and admit to the fact that it is morality you hate. The concept of right and wrong which prevents you from doing absolutely anything and everything you want because it feels good to you.

Ethics.

Your questions is silly. It's like asking upon what foundation is human life based if not GOD?

Really? Then why do most professions REQUIRE lessons including continuing education on ethics? If humanity had ethics built in, why the need to teach it and reinforce it? If it is "built in" shouldn't we all embrace the same ethics and therefore the same morality?

Exactly...if morality was based off ethics...then why are ethics the attempt to rationalize "morals"?

Its because they imply that morals are inherent...ethics are based off morals, not vice versa.
