Do you honestly think Obama is a socialist ??
Yes.

Change doesn't happen overnight.

Thank God for our constitution.

The "same people" were saying that and are upset now. Don't you remember? There still are a lot of liberals[not me] that are just as upset with Obama as they were with Bush. You dont hear them as much, but they are still here.

I switched over a long time ago when Republicans used to call Moderate/liberals/Democrats unpatriotic if we questioned the goverment on issues like this.

We were told by flag waving Americans that were had nothing to worry about and that we should just "love America, or Leave it". Election after election, Republicans beat "Liberals" over the head with accusations of being unpatriotic.

Liberals/Moderate/Democrats had to relinquish on harsh opposition to "All things Governmental" to be able to compete in elections.

After 9/11 most Americans said... lets do what we have to. But some lawmakers went way to far. That's why Congress/Justice Department/Supreme Court had real procecutions of Bush officials on matters of Civil and Politcal Liberties.

So If you would like to blame today's civil liberty questions on Liberals...we deserve some of the scrutny...but you need to squeeze in with us in fornt of the mirrow as well.

I don't think anyone is trying to place the original blame on liberals and you are right, there are many liberals that are upset with Obama here.

Obama is more of a believer in big government than he is of liberal ideas. Now in a large percentage of issues big government usually coincides with the liberal ideas but not always.

The government has simply become too big and intrusive. It won't do some of what it is supposed to do but wants to get it's finger's into all sorts of things it has no business being in.

It gives the government (leaders) power and control. Those two things are important to removing all obstacles.

We all know it wasn't.

That does not excuse further and ever deepening abuses.

Then for the love of all that is good, if you want anything to improve, stop voting for Democrats and Republicans!
