Who would that be ? The ones I've read about defending Obama are war mongers to begin with so of course would have backed Bush as well.

And for all those saying "Bush did it" and said he should be brought to justice, they seem to be ok with Obama doing it.

So it turns out they are not against the action, but the person's party.
That is hypocrisy.

And you still see that today...blaming Bush for the wars that continued after 2009.
We invaded Libya with drones and not a peep from the left and Congress didn't even approve of that one.
Now we're going into Africa and no one cares, not even the press.
We're all but droning in Syria and not a peep of disapproval.

you guys are just paranoid and negative.
no matter what the president does you're going to complain
So you are fine with a president who condons the violation of the citizens rights to privacy and lies about it?

Don't have to guess who you voted for.

If only the pea-brained American voters would heed your very good advice!

All of that may be true, but if Obama was what he promised to be, different and transparant and his own man, he could have easily stopped all of this. Instead he lied about it and sought to profit from it at the expense of the people he is supposed to be looking out for.

Sort of defines him as a lying jackhole.

Yes, after verbally opposing it and having a decided to not vote on it (pro or con) when it reached the floor.

Typical Obama action, take no stance that you cannot claim was misunderstood as to what you really meant.

If you "can't read minds" how do you know that there was racial intent? That the comment you took to have "racial intent" was not just your intrepretation of a statement?

Perhaps this gives a hint as to where the racism actually resides.

As it is noteworthy to note your attempt to make this conversation about Bush instead of sticking to the actual OP.

You can't defend Obama (at least not honestly) so you attack Bush.

You give Obama too much credit for this.

This is something that started over a decade ago and has morphed into Big Brother spying on us.
Several Congressmen who voted for the Patriot Act say what we have going on today was never the intent of the Act.

But it was these fools that put fluid wording in the bill that can be "interpreted" to suit one's agenda.

Where's HIS outrage now? Certainly had it right up until he was elected then "POOF", it's all good!
If I'm not mistaken, back when Bush brought out the program there was quite a stir and it was explained that the wire taps etc would not be focused inward (inside the U.S.) and no calls originating and concluding inside the U.S. would be trapped just foreign calls. Now it's ALL calls, email, texts, web activity etc.
So I ask again, where's the dear leaders outrage? Was he lying then or now?
