Do you want your religion to be judged by the whack-a-loons in it?
Absolutely.

Just look at what is going on in Papua New Guinea. Unbelievably horrible.

The point is that Christians were once as bad as some Muslims are now. They evolved. Muslims are about 700 years behind Christianity as an organized religion and will evolve out of it, too.

And we can hurry that process along by not giving their crazies an excuse to turn people against us. You know, stop invading their damn countries for oil and stuff. Having said that, what is your point, OP? Do you want us to invade or something and make things worse for Americans everywhere? What the Taliban does in Afghanistan has no affect on your daily life, there's nothing we can do about it from here, and nothing we SHOULD do about it, as I just pointed out.

Until Russia and the West started mucking around in the Middle East, there WERE no powerful crazy fundamentalist Muslims. Let's remember who funded and backed the Taliban in the first place ...
Absolutely this.

I care. You are not following logic. Because a person hates crimes against humanity caused by religion, does not mean that person would tolerate crimes against humanity caused by drug cartels or any other source. You see, it is the "crimes against humanity" along with the motivating source that we hate.

Well we should have thought about that before we started invading these countries and killing off their leaders in the name of "democracy".

In retrospect, those "bad leaders" kept their people in check.
Now we've set them loose.
We opened Pandora's Box and it can't be closed.

Because I have seen the effects of religion on women and children first hand with my work.

For example: a women who was hemorrhaging to death because she had a significant abruption of her placenta at about 20 weeks. Because the baby still had a heartbeat, the catholic hospital would not allow termination of the pregnancy which is the only way to stop the hemorrhaging. She came to us on death's door.
