It also says Congress will be consulted. I believe this would be a good time for those opposed to contact their Senators and Reps and tell them in no uncertain terms that a vote for action in Syria is a vote for their current terms to be their last.

The Obama administration had come under pressure from hawkish Republicans in Congress to take a more active role in ousting the Assad regime, either by directly arming rebels, or by enforcing a partial or complete no-fly zone in Syria.

Please note the word "REPUBLICANS" in the bolded sentence above, meaning, more than ONE.

Maybe you'd like to psychoanalyze the republicans putting Obama "under pressure" too, Doctor. Is that done over the phone or can that be done by mere observations?
