Have you ever said the actual N-Word when referring to a black person in your life?

Why isn't this a poll? My answer is "yes".

No. I don't appreciate when ANYONE says it either. I find it offensive, along with a whole slew of other words I have never said.

I am curious as to how those of you who have said it, justify your use of it.

It is a word. Life is long. I can't imagine that there is anybody that hasn't said the word before.

I say the N-Word every day, maybe 3 or 4 times a day. I have young kids in the house and without the word "NO" they would destroy the place.

Why does anyone need to justify it? This is a free country and as such, people can say what they want to. It is our choice not to agree with it. There are many words that I am offended with, including one in your username. I don't thing Hag is ever a good word or appropriate to call anyone. It is my right to voice that concern and your right to use it anyway.

Used as an adjective. It represents a PORTION of the black community who behaves in the stereotypical manner associated with the word. No different than cracker, redneck, ****, kraut, mic, etc representing a PORTION of the people in their community who behave in their respective stereotypical manner.

Grew up in Queens, the most diverse place in the US. Had friends of all different enthnicities and nationalities and we always made fun of each other like this. Sort of how the yo momma jokes are done now.

Of course, I don't expect that my experience is typical for any other area or for any other time period.
