You are misunderstanding the entire issue. You don't actually have to have a gay marriage if you don't want to.

Get it? Its not required. And if you're already married, your marriage will not be re-defined in any way.

See? Its not as bad as you seem to think it is.

Marriage is a legal contract.
Your church can still define marriage however it chooses to, however the government can not discriminate.

I would not call it a assumption that if you are in your 20's you support gay marriage. Its more of the numbers show that on average if you are in your 20's you are more likely to support gay marriage then people in their 50's. Then again some people in their 50's support gay marriage and some people in their 20's do not.

Do you have a link that Obama said something different than the following? Because the following statement is what some conservative sites are using to claim what you claimed. Clearing in the statement he is not claiming the power to force a change on religious institutions.

Supreme Court Strikes Down the Defense of Marriage Act | The White House

On an issue as sensitive as this, knowing that Americans hold a wide range of views based on deeply held beliefs, maintaining our nation’s commitment to religious freedom is also vital. How religious institutions define and consecrate marriage has always been up to those institutions. Nothing about this decision – which applies only to civil marriages – changes that.

That reminds of the saying. I'm not gay but my bf is . However in my case its the opposite. My BF insists that even though we are dating he is not gay.

Good luck with that. They'll find something else to march about now. Not enough gays in the officer ranks of the Army...you name it.
