Obviously you don't know why they put horses down. They don't do it for the fun of it. If a race car driver breaks both their ankles they can recover. A horse can't. I guess you folks would have been against the cavalry back in the day.

Eight Bells babies would have been worth millions. These folks don't try and run their horses until they die there is too much money at stake especially for the elite horses. Many folks depend on these animals for their livelihoods. Hell her mama just sold for I think it was 3.5 million dollars not too long ago to the shieks.
