Wish they would open that Zimmerman Thread back up for you guys that want to discuss it.

This thread is not about Zimmerman.

I'm asking if this is being brought up because of Trayvoon.
This entire thread is childish.

The ONLY reason this was even brought up to the attention of the public is because someone lied, altered tapes, and called zimmerman a white mexican.....

Again, black on black, black on white, white on black....never would have heard the first peep...

It was his night to be on watch as he was part of the neighbor hood watch group....

Ugh!! I didn't want to comment...but I have to. Honestly, I don't know what I'd do...I personally would not have followed somebody-because I think if someone was following me and for the sake of argument I wasn't doing anything..well I would be in fear for my life and would defend myself. But on the flip side...if I was getting my ass kicked and had a gun...I have a right to defend myself...there is no easy answer..and no matter what the verdict is...well there will be no winners.

Also it sucks I will be stuck in Florida when the trial is over...because I pray the situation doesn't turn into California when the verdict for OJ was read.

The Hannity interview is on Youtube but I couldn't find that moment, it is a long interview.

But here is what was said, from abc news:

On Tuesday the jury heard the one interview he gave to Sean Hannity almost a year ago.

"Hannity: "I'm just curious, prior to this incident, had you ever heard of stand your ground?"

Zimmerman: "No sir."

Hannity: "You have never heard about it before?"

Zimmerman: "No."

If Zimmerman is acquitted of all charges what is stop anyone who is losing a fight from shooting their opponent? Doesn't make sense.

At the point when Z threatens T with force, which must be known to T, and Z is in the proximity to commit such force.

Showing his gun would qualify but did Z show his gun?

Carrying a gun does not qualify because the fact Z having a gun would not be a known fact to T.

Again I ask.... Since George Zimmerman is not using stand your ground as a defense, what is the relevance?? He is using self defense...
