What are you babbling about? Paul Ryan is NOT a Libertarian. Never has been, never will be.

I loved how Alex Jones went on his show and completely embarrassed him on live television. Oh and I never hear anything on the news about the Libertarian Party or any other party besides GOP and Democrats.

1. How far to the right are you to label Fox News as liberal ?

2. There are very few Republicans or Libertarians that will even say Alex Jones was coherent that day, let alone embarrassed anyone.

I think you and others should read the libertarian party platform, makes sense to me.

From Wikipedia....

Platform

Quote:

"The preamble outlines the party's goal: "As
Libertarians, we seek a world of liberty; a world in which all individuals are
sovereign over their own lives and no one is forced to sacrifice his or her
values for the benefit of others." Its Statement of Principles begins: "We, the
members of the Libertarian Party, challenge the cult of the omnipotent state and
defend the rights of the individual." The platform emphasizes individual liberty
in personal and economic affairs, avoidance of "foreign entanglements" and
military and economic intervention in other nations'
affairs, and free trade and migration. It calls for Constitutional limitations on government as well as the elimination of most
state functions. It includes a "Self-determination" section which quotes from
the Declaration of Independence and
reads: "Whenever any form of government becomes destructive of individual
liberty, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to agree
to such new governance as to them shall seem most likely to protect their
liberty." It also includes an "Omissions" section which reads: "Our silence
about any other particular government law, regulation, ordinance, directive,
edict, control, regulatory agency, activity, or machination should not be
construed to imply approval."

This includes favoring minimally regulated markets, a
less powerful federal government, strong
civil liberties (including support
for same-sex marriage and other
LGBT rights), the drug
liberalization
, separation
of church and state
, open immigration, non-interventionism and neutrality in diplomatic relations,
free
trade
and free
movement
to all foreign countries, and a more
representative republic. The party's position on
abortion is that government should
stay out of the matter and leave it to the individual, but recognizes that some
libertarians' opinions on this issue are different. Ron
Paul
, one of the former leaders of the
Libertarian Party, is strictly pro-life, but believes that is an
issue that should be left to the states and not enforced federally. Meanwhile
Gary
Johnson
, the party's 2012 presidential candidate, is
pro-choice.

The Libertarian Party has also supported the repeal of
NAFTA, CAFTA, and similar trade agreements, as well as the United
States'
exit from the World Trade Organization and
NATO.

He only actually tried to do what Obama promised to do before getting the chance and then not doing it.

Obama promised to stop the unlawful spying. Once he got the opportunity he expanded it. Ron Paul continues to argue against this.

Obama promised to go after those in banking that ran afoul of our laws but instead greatly rewarded them. Ron Paul continues to argue for them to be held accountable.

Corporations do not love libertarians. If they did libertarians would be running the country.
Corporations, including the Kochs, are salivating over libertarians who want total deregulation of their industries - libertarians who believe that the crash of 2008 was somehow due to over-regulation of the banks.
Libertarians who believe that Wall Street banks don't have enough "freedom" and must be unleashed to do as they please.
Ayn Rand apostles who believe that without rules, the "cream" will rise to the top for the good of all. Those who believe that trickle-down economics was never given a fair chance due to "liberal" over-regulation.

Libertarians who threw in with the Republican Plutocratic Party - the party of the Kochs, big banks, Big Oil, GE and others with offshore bank accounts who pay no taxes while receiving tax subsidies, those wealthy who enjoy tax loopholes denied to average Americans, and want zero taxes on capital gains in the name of enhanced trickle-down.
Libertarian Republicans who believe that the high-living spoiled lower classes must tighten their belts to atone for their sins of over-spending.
The Kochs are plutocrats, no different from many other big corporations who want total control of government. Gay marriage, drugs, immigration, are nothing but republican wedge issues - diverting attention from the really important issue of creeping fascism at election time, and are ignored and forgotten as soon as republicans are in control. Sleight-of-hand. Without Obama in office, there is no RW concern over these issues - zero. You truly think otherwise?

Typical vacuous response. Since you know all about it, perhaps you can explain the libertarian view of privatization and how it will work to the benefit of average Americans.
As this thread is about Libertarianism please try something other than an infantile reply. Thanks.
