It's called encephalocele. Like anencephaly and spina bifida, it's a type of neural tube defect. Nmnita, I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sure it was a terribly difficult time for your entire family.

There are 3 choices when a woman is faced with an unplanned pregnancy; keeping the child, adoption, or abortion. A responsible woman makes the best choice depending on her circumstances.
