I didn't get to see what Serino said today, but in his written police reports of his interviews with Zimmerman he states how Zimmerman had flat affect, and that made him suspicious of Zimmerman.

His police report is here:

Zimmerman. Not Guilty! certainly not beyond reasonable doubt. Martin was on top. his knees were wet and Zimmermans's back was wet. The person getting punched was the one screaming for help all that time. Zimmerman had serious wound from the fight, not Martin. What else is there to discuss? anything except the self defense is irrelevant.

Who's the other attorney for the state? Not BDLR or John Guy ... the balding one?

Every time I see him I want to shave all those little wisps of hair off of the top of his head.

Last argument:

O'Mara argues issues Root would testify to aren't common-sense issues jury could resolve themselves.

Guy: State primarily objects to 3 Root opinions:
  • GZ's use of force reasonable
  • no laws broken
  • GZ "exhibited restraint."

Nelson grants state's motion regarding expert. Root can't give opinions prosecutors objected to.

Nelson is to give O'Mara a 15 minute break to prepare to argue against state motion on animation.

Moot point since the judge just ruled against admitting Trayvon's toxicology, I think.
You just outed yourself as someone not paying attention.

What there is to discuss is who started the physical confrontation, or who incited it where someone felt they needed to defend themself. The state has not presented proof that Zimmerman started the confrontation.

Up to the point up the physical confrontation, niether party was doing anything illegal.

Was there a ruling on request to strike some testimony?

Other than Zimmerman's statements and the gym owner saying that getting in the first shot is tantamount to getting on top for a ground and pound there is no other evidence in this regard so far.
