I've been saying the defense would call the gym istructor because gz probably got knocked out by the punching bag. I overestimated his skill... he didn't know how to punch.

Though this testimony hurts the state, it at least has the benefit of giving some people a reason to make fun of gz.

Were they pounding on anyone's face? Slamming anyone's head on the concrete? If not, I doubt that they have much to worry about with a "GZ".

Nothing I'd like more than spending 1 1/2 years of my life in hiding, with the possibility of life in prison for shooting some guy I didn't even know.

It's an extensive class. Just like GZ, I learned when I can and when I can't pull out my gun. No one wants to lose their license or firearm. You don't go to that trouble only to be careless and lose it. That is always on your mind. Even though, carrying it so often, you can forget you have it, you are always aware of your rights.

No kidding.

As hot tempered and unstable as he is, I'm surprised he didn't jump up and start shooting people.

At least there would have been a witness.
Yep. If George had stuck to "observing" he wouldn't be a defendant in a murder trial.

I agree! Oh, wait - it's the opposing side that is threatening to riot and tear up their communities and harm people like a third world country.

Zimmerman did not kill Martin because Martin looked to be up to no good; the claim is Zimmerman killed Martin in self defense when Martin attacked Zimmerman. The state has to prove otherwise, it is not up to Zimmerman to prove he is innocent.

Anyway, sounds illogical even for dimwit Zimmerman to decide to kill Martin, then call the police, then get involved in a physical confrontation with Martin; not the standard MO of a person who decided to kill a person upon first sight.
