Always opened with the "tape" wrapped around the packages showing that it was examined in customs. It is hilarious, as I really do not care whether they look in my packages, as I have nothing to hide.
warrantless surveillance and data collection is against the law, though private contractors today think they are above this. Much funding comes from US the taxpayers.
