If Obama had any political capital left, he shot it all up today. He's done.
Nah, he just picked up an immense amount of it. He finally realized that he wasn't going to get anywhere trying to get along with a bunch of reactionaries from the Repugs and Teabaggers who resent the fact that he even exists, much less occupies the White House. He just decided that he wasn't going to try to go out of his way to get along with them anymore.
I'd lay equal blame on the shoulders of the irresponsible black men.

what struck me is this is the first place you go. and what is the "incentive" for black men to have oow children. it's obvious you were refer to the women who have oow children. not that any of this would have saved Trayvon as his parents were married once. maybe you should rail against married people getting divorced after they have kids. or would that include too many non blacks.

The black in the case attacked another individual who was walking down the street. Are you telling me that black people are more prone to violence and thus should be convicted more? Sure sounds like it.
Yeah. Zimmerman was just strolling down the street minding his own business. I mean he wasn't stalking a 17-year-old child in the dark.
As far as being more prone to violence...well I hate to destroy your perception of the world, but I know plenty of white males who have been arrested for assault, but my black a$$ has never seen the inside of a jail cell, nor has most of my black friends for that matter.
Obama basically expressed what almost every African American male has gone through. I think it was refreshing because a lot of people, especially the right wing trolls that peruse these forums, have absolutely no idea about how it feels to get profiled.
More blame game. Profiling works period. People need to understand that and get over it, stop using it as a crutch, just like some atrocities from the past that keep getting used.
Now describing someone as black is a racist comment... is that the political correct garbage gone nuts again. Racist profiling as saying some one is black.. total lunacy.
yep, thats exactly what caused all of this outrage.. 911 operator asked Zimmerman to describe Martin, and Zimmerman said he was a black male..
Then NBC edited the 911 call to make it sound like Zimmerman pushed forward the information to represent hate..
I also want to point out, since I've seen a lot of people refer to the fact that Obama isn't "black." There are many intelligent black men and women who are have very successful careers, and do not conform to the stereotypes that have been established by ignorance.
I'd like to also mention, there are many educated, and intelligent black men, who don't dress like thugs, but still get profiled. I've been in that situation. I'm not sure why I bothered to write this, because essentially anyone who says nonsense like "he isn't black" is simply an idiot.
