Obama is as bad as the shrub was. All of you who didn't have enough sense to vote for Ron Paul or Mike Gravel, enjoy your Christian slaughterfest.

"Images obtained exclusively by Infowars show the aftermath of an alleged massacre of a Christian village in Syria during which men, women and children were slaughtered and churches desecrated by Obama-backed FSA rebels.

According to the Assyrian International News Agency (AINA) on May 29, “The armed rebels affiliated to the Free Syrian Army (FSA) raided the Christian-populated al-Duvair village in Reef (outskirts of) Homs near the border with Lebanon….and massacred all its civilian residents, including women and children.”

These are some of the very same rebels that the Obama administration is set to arm following the House and Senate Intelligence Committee’s green light for the White House to send heavy weaponry.

The decision to send arms was made despite a plethora of evidence confirming that FSA rebels have joined forces with Al-Qaeda terrorists and are committing atrocities on a routine basis. Some fighters have even threatened to commit more war crimes if heavy weaponry is not immediately sent by western powers, while others have vowed to attack the US and Europe once they are finished in Syria.

It is important to stress that it was the Syrian Army, which is predominantly Sunni Muslim, that stepped in to help the Christians who were under siege from radical jihadist militants that now form the front line fighting force of the FSA.

Antioch (which is at the current Syria/Turkish border) is where the disciples were first called 'Christians'.

Acts 11:19-26

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

The Church at Antioch

19 So then those who were scattered because of the persecution that occurred in connection with Stephen made their way to Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except to Jews alone.

20 But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who came to Antioch and began speaking to the Greeks also, preaching the Lord Jesus.

21 And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a large number who believed turned to the Lord.

22 The news about them reached the ears of the church at Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas off to Antioch.

23 Then when he arrived and witnessed the grace of God, he rejoiced and began to encourage them all with resolute heart to remain true to the Lord;

24 for he was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And considerable numbers were brought to the Lord.

25 And he left for Tarsus to look for Saul;

26 and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. And for an entire year they met with the church and taught considerable numbers; and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.

People tend to link the entire Middle east to the Muslims, but the earliest Christians were in the church of Antioch, modern day Syria. Those Christians have been there since the beginning of the church.

Mike Gravel and Ron Paul advocated staying out of the internal business of other countries. I agree with that principle. Bush's incredible screw-up in Iraq is a prime example. Over a trillion spent there, and what was the 'mission accomplished?'. A more fundamentalist Islamic Republic of Iraq?

Sadaam was not a wonderful person, but at the time that we invaded, he was much more tolerant towards Christians than the regime that currently is in place. If we truly must interfere in the business of other countires, especially Muslim countries, why don't we adopt a simple guideline for who we do and do not support? The side that is most Christian-friendly is the one we should aid. It makes sense because it speaks to the general theme of tolerance of those who are not towing the 'Muslim' line.

Is this the product of a coherent mind?

Obama is a dictator.

For now, there's nothing anyone can do about any of his criminal acts.

Christians lived peacefully along side the Muslims in Syria without any conflict. Assad warned the Christians about the rebels. He told them as Christians they would suffer at the hands of the rebels and that he would be willing to protect them if they stood behind him. The Christians didn't "side" with Assad, the opposition or the rebels. Most of them fled Syria (many went to Egypt). Those that remained took their chances. Assad called it. The rebels went after and will continue to go after the Christians as the rebels want Syria to become a pure Islamist country. If they don't kill the Christians they will drive them out with the threat of death. And Obama is arming the rebels enabling them to do this.

If you look at the video (which is hard) that was posted about the Catholic priest that was beheaded, look at the clothing of those that were there. The person who did it was wearing a traditional hat that is worn by Afghans. Look at the clothing of some of them - traditional Pakistan and Afghan clothing. There are jihadists from European countries that joined the rebels.

A 22 year old woman was arrested in the Netherlands for recruiting jihadists to join the Syria rebels.

Quote:
As many as 600 Europeans may have joined rebel forces in Syria since early 2011, according to research published in April by the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation (ICSR) at King's College London.

It was estimated that 134 fighters from Britain have headed to Syria, along with up to 107 from the Netherlands, 92 from France and 85 from Belgium.

Others came from Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Finland, Spain, Sweden, Albania, Austria, Bulgaria and Kosovo.

Obama, along with the blessings of the House and Senate, will continue to arm these rebels. And should they succeed and Assad steps down, the US will put boots on the ground in Syria to "help" these rebels and these rebels will use the very weapons the US provided them, against our troops.

Your thread is about Obama. Why are you bringing Bush into it? Why don't you try sticking to you OWN TOPIC?
