Fact is that 64% of whites voted for president on the last election.Compare that with 66% of black voters.
The last election was the first time in HISTORY blacks voted more than whites.

Why?No.Not because WE are stupid.Shows real ignorance to even suggest that such a simple minded answer would be for such a complex statement.

A person with logic could look at history and what drives human nature of all races.Survival.
Some blacks have done so by just not voting.A dubious history of the U.S. has lead blacks to believe this country is a home where we are merely tenants paying rent.Not owners.
Up until recently blacks voted at a much lower percentage than whites.In fact Hispanics also vote in even lower numbers.
Groups that don't feel invested often don't vote.Why would you when you rarely see someone who looks like you or talks to your concerns.All people do not have the same problems.To act as we do is completely misguided.Its an attempt to pass judgement because some cannot empathize,or simply do not care.

A more logical reason would be that blacks for the first time see opportunity in being a part of our nations future.
When you look at the Democratic party you see more women,gays,a dn blacks.
Where are these in mass in the Republican party?And you really think because blacks are stupid is the answer?
73% of Asian voted for Obama.Are they also stupid?
71% of Hispanics voted for Obama.Stupid?
It almost sounds like you are saying white people are obviously smarter because there was less of a majority that voted Democrat

One merely has to look at the GOP convention delegates to know that Republicans aren't looking for black participation. They'd rather rely upon keeping blacks away from the polls in order to win elections.

The Democratic Party of 1950 is not the same as the one of 1968. And George Wallace was a Dixiecrat. He eventually left the party when LBJ passed the Civil Rights bill. And then he ran for President as an Independent. Hubert H. Humphrey was a Democrat who ran in the 1968 election. He was alot more for Civil Rights than Richard M. Nixon was.

I'm not sure why a black person would support a democracy. It seems to me that they'd be better off in a republic. The whole point of a republic is to ensure the rights of the minority (even just one) against the power of the majority.

Also, it doesn't make sense that a republican would be racist or seek to marginalize a particular group/person. That's exactly what they'd be against.

Yet, culturally, republicans are racists and blacks vote democratic.

It's so confusing.

A black man or woman would be crazy to announce they are republican. Look what happened to the ones that did. Today it's illegal to whip but that does not mean it can't be done with venomous words and that's exactly what happened. Even other blacks joined in the whipping.
