Yes it is. That said, I highly doubt he will get the death penalty. Of course that means they will accuse Obama of influencing the decision.

They know he's a terrorist and if they execute him he will be a martyr. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty confident he's going to spend life in jail rather than be executed.

I agree totally with this and this is what I would like to see happen. Worst case scenario, I can see the panel of senior officers giving him the death penalty but fully expecting Obama to commute it to life in prison without parole.

Either way, I don't care - in this case, I just hope he sits there in that wheelchair till his tailbone rots off.

And by return, I mean push him out of the airplane when it is 30,000 feet above the home country.
