McCain, who first mentioned that he wanted to write a column during an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper, is not the only lawmaker to respond to Putin with an op-ed. Democratic Congressional Committee Chairman Steve Israel (D-N.Y.) submitted a piece to the Russian magazine Kommersant called "An Open Letter to the People of Russia."

Countering Putin, Rep. Israel pens column for Russian press
The DCCC chair on Thursday submitted a rebuttal article to Kommersant, a major Russian magazine, that he’s calling “An Open Letter to the People of Russia,” to explain the situation he and other members of Congress are in as they weigh whether to authorize the military strike which Putin argued in the Times should only happen with Security Council approval—which Russia would be able to veto.
John McCain To Attack Vladimir Putin With Column In Pravda
There is another Congressman (Steve Israel) who responded in NYT. His piece will be published on Monday. I am glad McCain is taking the US side on this thing. It's embarrassing to see so many Americans, mostly Republicans, cheer Putins anti-American propaganda.
No one listens to that old man here,I don't know why they would waste their time there.
