Makes absolutely no sense, but neither does your understanding of budgets it seems.

You have no obligation to keep parks open, nor other unnecessary departments, nor does the government have an obligation to employ individuals all year around.

When it runs out of money, it runs out of money, just like when a business runs out of money, they stop having employees work for them.

Once again for the stupid (lefties), you working for a company and them budgeting for your salary for the year, does NOT equal an obligation to pay you all year, they are only obligated to pay you for what you work..

If they run out of money, you working next week, probably isnt going to happen, but claiming you need to, is complete stupidity on your part.

A budget is a plan.

Debt is an obligation or contract.

So, was obama lying in 2006, ignorant to the truth, or simply playing partisan politics (which he claims to despise)?

Let's review......

From Sen. Obama’s Floor Speech, March 20, 2006:

The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. … Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that “the buck stops here.” Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.

Lefties need to start coming up with better arguments when leg humping obama....at least be intellectually honest and admit that he's a lying, uninformed amateur.

Exactly, and debts dont become obligations until AFTER the activity which creates them takes part, for example, the parks department has no obligation to pay their employees, until after the employees work for the week.

Simply budgeting for the year, doesnt create an obligation to pay the department for the year...

Where the hell did these idiots go to school?

Of course it does. It just bursts your little cabal-of-four's bubble of rude and vacuous nonsense.

By that "logic": Raising the debt ceiling doesn't incur debt. You can play with words all you want. It doesn't change the truth of the matter. Using the raising of the debt ceiling to try to undo ACA for a 41st time is a childish, antisocial, disreputable and completely meritless abortion of process. It deserves condemnation in the most uncertain terms, and support for it deserves similar repudiation. Congratulations, you're ready to join the cabal-of-four - all you have to do is post something that is rude, as well.

And to all - Leave Obama out of the discussion please...
