I don't get this about the liberal elite. You look down on working class people in rural areas like where I live in West Virginia. You have these snide comments about how many teeth people have etc etc. But you find it offensive when people make fun of the ghetto the same way, you might even be offended by terms like ghetto and hoodrat but you are okay with cracker or trailer trash eh? Hence the liberal elitism. And btw a lot of the people in small towns who vote Republican are actually blue collar which is very different from ghetto/low class and do not benefit from Obama's liberalism and suffer the most from Obamacare.

Taxes aren't voluntary, you can't pick and choose how much you wish to donate.

I think you missed my point...we all participate in a system to determine our taxation...one person alone doesn't determine what the tax structure should be.

Because states like those are filled with people who complain about taxes, and yet those states are the "takers"...they take much more of federal tax money than they generate, largely because of the fact that they are low-income states. If live in a low income state that relies on higher-income states to subsidize your state's budget, you really can't complain about the tax system...educate your people and maybe they will make something of themselves.

yes gridlock is better then a rubber stamp congress..

This count has always worked on liberty, freedom, and the Constitution...not compromising of them..

Yes on certain issues on is right and on is very very wrong...the world is black and white, not grey..

Funny how they are pig headed because they refuse to give you want you want at the expend of others..

Why should everyone pay 5% the rich the poor and everyone in between..the 50% who pay nothing must have some skin in the game..

If America is so racist, or sexist, or fill with "right wing, illegal immigration hating, gun loving, anti government lunatics" as some of you have said, why do you still live here? If America is such a bad place, if you Liberals(as well as Marxist, Communist, Socialist, Globalist ect) don't like the culture, views, values, heritage and the founding principals of this nation as well as the Constitution, Bill Of Rights, federalism, states rights, and the 2nd Amendment why don`t you leave?
You seem confused, Liberals want to make things better, it is Cons that whine on and on about rights they say they have lost, yet haven't, and speak of tearing the Nation down or apart to install their own little piece of right-wing paradise beacuse they have lost power and have no idea how to get it back.

Default Nah, too much fun watching Pubs in the free fall

I wouldn't think of leaving. To begin with, we have a fine President of the United States, a man of great dignity and integrity, supreme intelligence, depth, and substance, a man who is articulate, and is not afraid to reach across the table to get things done. He holds the superior view in every category, is a vast improvement of anyone Republicans can cough up, and has been incredibly effective. It also incredible that he happens to be a black man, and a clear symbol for all the ignorant bigots on the Right that black people are an extraordinary people. The man has a beautiful family. He is a great father and husband, and a fine leader of the free world. His wife is more brilliant and qualified than any Republican. These are good times.

Of course, like always, we have to put up with the bigots of this society in the form of the hapless Conservative nitwits. Just a bunch of whining crybaby obstructionists, sucking on their pacifiers, humming the sour grapes blues because this great President is proving to be an enormous BENEFIT to this country. The implosion of the GOP is a welcome sight to not only the most enlightened people in this country, but the entire world.

You Pubs can stay and continue to get your arses kicked, or leave. Who cares? Your party is floundering mightily and this is enjoyable to witness.
