Every time one of you homophobic dinosaurs posts something about the bible, should I post the text of the First Amendment? Would that help you?

actions have consequences, and political actions need to be weighed carefully regardless of whether it is porterville, ca or san fransico, ca, or ny, ny, or washington dc. actions taken to appease groups usually backfire, where as actions taken on principle dont.

The 'revolving' Mayor made a Unilateral decision about something she already knew was going to be somewhat controversial (based on their past vote), AND she did not see fit to even inform the other 4 Council members. She probably could have handled it better. The public will ultimately decide the next time a city election rolls around.

No you are incorrect. The democrats are the ones who try and create division and pit the people against each other with the help of the media. Take the zimmerman case as an example. Or you can take the gay marriage stance as another. Obama quickly changed his mind about DOMA, oh about a year or so prior to the election and all we saw after was gay this, gay that, folks hate gays, homophobe bs spewed all over the airwaves. Where is it now? GONE. Nobody seems to care anymore. Now why is that? Or is all well now in liberal land with DOMA gone? DOMA really meant not much of anything in the big picture state wise so what was the point? Oh yeah to get votes and you suckers fell, and fall for it, hook line and sinker every time. I don't blame you I blame you ideology. It's pure insanity.

The mayor's mistake was to go it alone without council approval for 'gay whatever month'. I suspect there were other issues between council and mayor and this was the tipping point.

my point though was she did it to appease the activist, and not on principle.

Oh, I know this one.

That is because 99% of bigots are scared little bullies who feel unsafe outside the crowd. When they are no longer comfortable that they have the numbers on their side, they grow quiet. Where did most of the outspoken segregationists go, once that battle was lost? They slinked away and kept quiet outside their own closed circles, only to later pretend that it wasn't a big deal to them, really.

Despite delaying actions like the one described here, you and yours have lost the campaign on gay marriage. More perceptive individuals have realized this, and so hardly anyone wants to march under that banner any more. Which is good, because we have more important things to worry about.

LOL..........according to you "mob" members anybody who doesn't agree with you is a bigot. You folks are so far lost their is actually no return. The indoctrination has been complete by the government on types like you. It's actually sad because you don't even realize it but that is the goal. Baaaaaaa along and then you will wonder how you ended up in a shower room full of other sheep.

There is no "campaign" against gay marriage other then to shut the hell up and go get married. Who cares? Well nobody other than old folks who are set in their way and democrat operators who try and create division among the population. You are a sucker. YOU and your "mob" are the ones who call folks names. Most just want to live their lives INCLUDING gay folks.
