Yep. The only person I've seen pointing a gun, outside of a range, has been the police. I've seen plenty of average Joe's openly carrying and didn't wet my pants like some of the people in this thread would.

Was at DPS the other day and saw a few citizens out with them holstered. No biggie.
If that bothers one, I'd suggest stay far away from Texas.

When i see someone open carry, and it is like a Glock or something, I usually assume it is a plain clothes cop.

When i see one, i think nothing of it, I am pretty sure if someone is going to use a gun, it is not going to matter if everyone can see it or not, I think most of the time the gun is concealed until they decide to do their illegal action, so I do not see what the hype is over open carry.
