btw, there is nothing inconsistant about wanting government smaller.. You can imagine that smaller government doesnt equal smaller government, but thats an issue you need to cope with.

psssst....remember the great recession? That might have had something to do with the unemployment rate.

Just saying.

It's always been good. This is where you diverge from reality. Saying that it was Obama's idea doesn't make it a bad idea for anyone outside of those who think the government should continue spending recklessly.
The irony of course, is that the OP created threads, whining about the Paul Ryan sequester..

https://www.city-data.com/forum/polit...sequester.html

Now that their doom and gloom thoughts about the sequester, didnt come true, (just like we said they wouldnt), they want to claim its Obamas. Their very hypocritical, and dont even mind embarassing themself.

pss, I thought we're recovering? So you not only have low expectations for "your side", but now need to find excuses.. got it..

I very well remember, the stupidity in the left, proclaiming welfare, and unemployment stimulates, as if they are completely dumbfounded over the idea that money has to be removed from the economy to pay these expenses..

No, I don't have low expectations, I have realistic expectations. There's a big difference. And the great recession is hardly an excuse.

Maybe, just MAYBE, mind you, if the President would propose a REAL budget instead of relying on Congress to keep passing Continuing Resolutions, it would solve the problems.
Has this (expletive deleted) President EVER proposed a REAL, workable, annual budget for the country since he has been in office?
If not, why not?

How realistic is unemployment rates lower than 4.5%?

Tell me how expectations that -$1 from the economy +$1 into the economy = $2 in the economy.

Explain to me this realistic expectations of the newfound Democratic math.

Of course the math doesnt work, which is why the sequester, didnt result in economic collapse, despite most Democratic claims, and why a government shut down, doesnt ruin the credit of the US Government..

So are you now going to claim its an Obama sequester after you made threads claiming it was a Paul Ryan one?
I was told that it was Obama's sequester and it was a bad thing. That's what conservatives told me. So you agree with Obama's sequester and that the cuts were a good thing?

I think Obama has proposed a budget every year.

No, you were told that it was Obama's idea and you took that as a bad thing.

It was noted a *real* budget. Every year it gets voted down without a single vote of support.

I was told by our resident conservatives around here that it was Obama's sequester and that it was a bad thing. I'm just wondering why the House GOP now thinks keeping those sequester levels is a good thing. No one has answered that yet.

Also, Obama did propose a real budget. You can disagree with it but you don't get to also decide what the definition of the word budget is.
