That bill pays Wall Street and foreign investors but doesn't pay Headstart. Nice try to pawn this idea off as "guaranteeing no default." It defaults on the least vulnerable and protects the fat cats. I'd stop it too.

Default reid manufacturers a hero

Too bad the legislators who passed obamacare were not versed in it intricacies. Otherwise they would have spent the last 3 years explaining the details they discovered after they passed it. If it was so wonderful, then after 3 years people woukld be clamoring for it based on detailed fatcs presented by the dems.... and the rpubs would have no ammo to fight back.... but oops! the dems had no details except that obamacare wasn't for them.

Reid ensures no negotiations take place to justify Obama pulling an executive order at the last minute.... thus manufacturing a 'hero'.

Reid and Obama will sacrifice the many and the few to install their alien idology through subversion.

It's reached playground /sandbox at your local daycare levels.

Posters are sitting around arguing about the inevitable.. Republicans will pass a budget with Obamacare in it, and that's all there is to it.

I'm not about to expend energy arguing over it.

The bill is now a part of a continuing resolution. It gives China priority over the American people.
Investors and bond vigilantes might read a failure to make prompt Medicare payments as tantamount to default.

I have not read the bill and have no opinion.

Need I remind you of Michelle Bachmann's smiling face while she proclaimed how HAPPY they were that the government was shut down? She was downright gleeful.

Then - cut to McConnell and Paul whispering about who is 'winning' when, for some reason, they thought they couldn't be heard.
It sounded like he hates children to me. He said he would rather play politics than fund childhood cancer treatment. I don't see why the government shut-down has to be all or nothing, but Reid made it clear that an all-or-nothing shutdown was all he would accept.

BINGO, you hit the damn nail on the freaking head. Obama thinks being President is a game, does things anyways he sees fit, and to hell with any kind of cormpromise. His way, from day one or the damn fudgin hwy. Arrogant and bullish.

Reid is a old freaking geizer, and together their game of CHESS, is well played out.

Except there is no winners?

From day one, Obama has shown his true character. Compromise isn't in his vocabulary.

---------------
MR. GILLESPIE: ...when, when, at the meeting with the, with the House Republicans, when you're talking about the stimulus package, and they offer their suggestions, and President Obama's response at that time was, "I won. I don't have to take your ideas."

"Yeah"

---------------

As the president, he had told Kyl after the Arizonan raised objections to the notion of a tax credit for people who don't pay income taxes, Obama told Cantor this morning that "on some of these issues we're just going to have ideological differences."

The president added, "I won. So I think on that one, I trump you."

-----------

" He dissed the Supreme Court to their faces, dismissed Congressman Ryan’s efforts to work together on the deficit with a “you lost, we won” crack, and told Republicans to shut up and go to the back of the bus. He rammed through the biggest changes to health care in history by chicanery, to avoid having to make compromises with Republicans through the normal conference process. He ignored the recommendations of his own bipartisan commission on controlling debt and deficit. His favorite activity (next to golf) is class warfare. Obama is indeed the great divider, and the country shows it. "

------

He set the tone from day one. Two years later, the GOP took the House. Yet when we remind him that "we won", at least with respect to the House and appropriations, he plays deaf.
