LOL - yes, the weaknesses in the immigration policies when it comes to children. Perhaps the dear Senator can see the future and predict which immigrant child will be a "good" one and which one will turn out "bad?"

Wonder if the could elaborate on the USCIS point system and deduct points according to various shades of skin color and religious affiliation of ancestors? Or is there some other way that we can use to predict how a child will develop and what he/she will end up doing?

This should be a part of the debate. While one can not predict how a child will turn out we have absolutely no idea who is coming when we do not control the borders.

The United States has become a dumping ground for the problem people of many countries, no questions asked. All they have to do is claim political persecution and they get in, no matter what their record. And that isn't even including those who come here illegally and then become criminals. So its about time somebody at least looks at the situation and asks some questions if we're going about this the right way. Maybe not everyone in DC is completely brain dead.
Background checks seem to be the obsession of the left... but not when it comes to immigration? Or voting, or getting home loans, or being hired, or getting government assistance, or health insurance, or......
