Actually, evaluation of ACA will come over the course of the next few years, but the right-wing is nowhere near out of the "fog": Right-wingers still refuse to acknowledge the primary purpose of ACA - making health coverage affordable for those who previously could not afford healthcare - and until they allow themselves to acknowledge and understand the reality, they'll never be competent to evaluate ACA's efficacy.

Here's an article outlining how ACA is actually doing what it is intending to do, effectively, and how that is benefiting real people - real human beings ...

Six Stories of Obamacare Already Making a Difference | Politics News | Rolling Stone

The right-wing myopia generally precludes them from seeing people in difficult circumstances as real people. Right-wing egoism tends to marginalize and discount those who are most vulnerable in society, like a large predator viciously regards smaller, weaker prey. What's necessary for the right-wing to finally get out of the "fog" is recognizing the basic principles of civilized society, i.e., the responsibility of the strong to protect others instead of exploit their strength in the interest of their own personal avarice. Perhaps ACA should have included a renewal of efforts to teach honor and citizenship, to both children and adults alike, since it sure seems like the right-wing has been corrupted by self-interest, self-centeredness, and self-aggrandizement.

Premiums will go down 3000% and now your employer will be able to give you a job.

Now we get to see what in the law away from the fog.
And of course, those are only some of the lies that have been told about the benefits of this bill.

I really hope this bill bites the liberals hardest of all. They deserve to know what the policies they've been pushing so many years really do to a society. Enjoy it, libs!

This is the thing: Obamacare is going to be the gift that keeps on giving to Republicans.

That's why I've said it all along: let it move forward.

It will be an unfolding disaster.

Since you assume that all the people helped by ACA "do nothing" why shouldn't other people spew vacuously baseless aspersions about you? Why shouldn't other people smear you with mud and cast suspicion on your honesty, your integrity, your innate value to society? Yes, you could claim anything you'd like about yourself but without proof (i.e., objective evidence rather than your own biased assessment of yourself) everything you would claim can be easily dismissed as just defensive prevarication. The point is that if you're going to engage in such rapaciously callous disregard for others, why shouldn't the same be directed back at you?

The answer is that those who see the disreputable nature of what you post are mature, honorable people, which is why they support efforts, such as ACA, which is intended to help those who are most vulnerable in society. We do this not because it helps us - for many of us, ACA harms our own discretionary finances more than it harms yours - but rather because it is the right thing to do - because it a reflection of moral values which aren't specific to any religion but rather so generally-held that they're acknowledged universal ethics.

The contrast should inform right-wingers - their scurrilous and baseless nefarious claims about people who aren't here to set the record straight, versus the highlighting moral imperatives supporting ACA that are derived from values that are the reflection of a civilized society. I fear that far too many right-wingers simply allow their own personal opportunistic outlook prevent them from seeing the offensive nature of their perspectives.

Mental health should be a priority for the paid $oro$ trolls on citydata that post their socialist master views. It isn't a fog but a smoke & mirrors ponzi scam forced upon US as a tax.

bUU I come under the Railroad Retiement Act of 1934 and the government is refusing my permanent disability because I don't walk with a cane when I should be in a wheel chair. They are denying me when they know I have permanent spinal damage but by God's good grace I still can walk.It takes an Act of Congress to change the requirements for disability or retirement for railroaders like me so how is the ACA helping me? If I couldn't afford Cobra how can I afford ObamaCare? Money doesn't grow on trees and I can't print it like the government can ...

you think that once people start getting subsidies, they are going to want to repeal it? Um, have you heard of a little program called Medicare. The health program that even the tea party doesn't want to get rid of.
