McConnell (R) has voted to raise the ceiling 16 times worth over $15 Trillion, which represents about 93% of the current debt balance.

Nobody cares. Borrowed dime and borrowed time.

It will effect everyone regardless, but because we never fixed anything or cut anything back, it's all going to crash at once.

Everyone's asleep.

A prime example: instad of actually fixing the "welfare" problem, they voted a "feel good" non fix that requires drug testing for TANF recipients, adding millions to the budget. The only winners in that scenario are the drug testing companies.

And people applaud this nonsense.

It's stupidity like the above, and the ongoing us v them crap that the politicians perpetrate that will keep business as usual in DC.

Chambliss is 'retiring', in the face of sure odds that he would lose in 2014. Expect to see Isakson do the same, rather than try to win his seat in 2016.

Yes, look at all the shrieking about the National Park shut-downs. But, but, but. . . that's what conservatives supposedly wanted!

Yep, the right wingers here have not learned that folks like Bachmann, Cruz, Perry, and the like are not qualified to play in the big leagues. They are out of their league.

They won't! Voters have very short memories.
