Isolation was the word used in the post I replied to. If France and Germany ask us to vacate the military bases in Europe, it would actually save us a lot of money. We should think about doing it anyway. They don't even seem to undertand that we share our intelligence with them, so not only would they have to build their own defences, but also their intelligence.
I agree. We've been propping those nations up since the end of WWII. They ought to have learned a lesson or two by now about how to build their own defenses.

Build one, assuming building such weapons and shooting such drones is legal. If not, lobby to a representative to change the law. If that fails, start a revolution. If unable to start one, build an ICBM in a country where that is legal and use that to shoot it down. If there are no countries where that is legal...
Launch it from Antarctica.

Its completely retarded because Germany/France are also spying on the US directly and indirectly... no country with any respectable wealth is not spying on other countries...
