The rich are not footing the bill on Obamacare.. the middle class will have to pick up the big tax bill for the coverage of the slackers.. that is why the IRS is involved. It is a huge tax on the middle class mandated through their health care.. their back up plan through Obamacare is to fine them or tax them and the IRS will sent out the bill .. Obama robs the working class to give more freebees as usual. Socialism , Marxism through health care.

You are wrong! Medicaid is ONLY for poor people with dependents. The unemployed and the working poor who don't have dependents or who aren't disabled DO NOT have access to it. At least not here in the state of Florida they don't.

I am aware of the profit margins that insurance companies have. I work in the industry.

But that's what Obamacare is all about. Taxpayers will pay for the health care of leeches. If you are a taxpayer, you are screwed.

Obama and the Dems hate taxpayers. Every program they introduce screws taxpayers.

Since Bush voters are generally taxpayers, you may get your wish. Obamacare screws taxpayers.

I doubt surftown has ever paid taxes. Another beachbum leech is more likely.

Do any of you know what income makes you middle class. The numbers I see in these threads suggest incomes, of the people who are having there policies changed, are in the top 10% of earners. That is why they do not get a tax credit. So are the well off crying that they are poor.

What the hell?

They are basically paying for the health insurance of poor people. People that they don't even know or associate with. They worked hard all their lives and are now PENALIZED if they don't buy it. They are basically being FORCED to purchase expensive health insurance to subsidize the poor.

What a socialist, utopian joke this law is. It's immoral, impossible and cannot work.

86% of Americans were HAPPY with their health plans prior to the ACA. And now these damn liberals want everyone to pay higher premiums so that the other 14% of Americans who are uninsured can GET healthcare.

I am not interested in paying for someone else's healthcare. And if I was poor, I would not be interested in being bailed out by someone else. It's MY responsibility to manage my health. Not somebody else or the government.
you're lying. Their premiums have not gone up that much because of "Obamacare"

not sure where you got that 86% figure either.

And yes, the wealthy do have to pay more to cover the health care of the poor. That's how society works. Get used to it.

Being poor does not get you medicaid in many states and really little to do with medicare. The idea that this was supposedly intended to help the poor seems ridiculous.

Curious where you are getting your broad insurance industry figures from. Have you looked at the fortune 500? Are you speaking of percent of revenue or something else?

Says the guy who's parents pay for his healthcare coverage. The problem with the old system is that naive pie in the sky thing where people are responsible and got insurance didn't happen.

Incidentally, your parent's one specific case means nothing. Go find some data.
