There are a few indisputable facts about our economy since Obama became President of the United States. We’ve created nearly 7 million jobs, unemployment dropped from a high of 10.1% down to 7.4%, stocks continue to set records and corporate profits have also hit record highs. Oh, and despite popular right-wing rhetoric, we’ve seen the largest reduction in our yearly deficits since after WWII.

And we’ve done all of this with zero help from Republicans. None.

In fact, not only have they done absolutely nothing—they’ve done all they can to get in the way and obstruct any kind of progress in any way possible.

Forward Progressives

Really obstructionists extraordinaire, step off already.

Do you ever post anything of substance that you actually thought of yourself? When you do nothing but copy and past articles from your list of progressive, left leaning blogs all day people tend to ignore everything you post. I'd actually like to have a conversation with you if you ever actually start a thread with your own thoughts in it.

progressives dont have their own thoughts. they have to wait for their masters to tell them what to say.

to the OP, your post is rubbish. the problem isnt just the republicans, its also the democrats, and the federal government in general. they ALL need to get out of the way of the economy by stop trying to manage it.

The voters do not agree with OOP and that is the reason they voted Republicans control of the senate first mid term and last election cycle.it also why overwhelmingly they say in polls the country is headed I wrong direction under Obama and his poll numbers are at 40%.Op seems to want all those rich republicans to continue to pay most of the taxes tho as they are always saying to buy more of what they think is free stuff much as the Greeks did.Democrats have always been good at tax and spend if someone doen'ts stand in their way.

Wow...I assure you having listened to a non-stop stream of quotes from rush Limbaugh lately that progressives feel the same way. I've been here a bit throwing facts at people, and they just simply spew out more one liners.

And no. thats a false equivalency. Its like saying "The problem wasn't just the Germans, the Jews were just as bad, and its the whole relationship they had in general". And then try and turn it into a republican talking point..... or in my example "If people would stop trying to dictate to Germany what to do, they will come up with a good final solution"

See how all that rolls off the tongue? This is what it looks like when a non-republican turns around, and acts as insane as some of the posters here.

Hmmm I seem to be grumpy today.

The jobs are being created by Conservatives in states like Texas.

You tax them to death and watch the jobs migrate to lower tax states. Why don't you increase the minimum wage in your state to $15-20 / hour and see how many jobs you create.

For the love of Jebus!! Someone pass me some more Kool-Aid!

Forget taking the elevator to the bottom. Let's just climb over the safety fence and leap to our death from the top floor.

Right, if Republicans just got out of the way the minimum wage would be $50 / hour, everyone would have a house with a white picket fence and only have to work 20 hours a week.

Or in the real world if Republicans got out of the way the minimum wage would be $50 / hour, a gallon of gas would cost $20, and people would live in hell holes like this
