What's wrong with catching a criminal? While this is merely a game, the OP actually exposes the underbelly of liberalism in that they apparently have no problem with "illegals" residing in our country. If liberals cared about these criminals, they'd have no problem with a game that portends to rid the country of these people, right?
I don't get that either. Sounds like the president is trying to protect illegal aliens under the umbrella of "diversity". Most illegals are Mexicans and other Latinos. Aren't there any of them on campus that are legal or citizens of this country? How is that not being diverse or accepting diversity?
I'm going out on a limb here but I'm guessing if the illegals were pouring in from Canada there would be crickets from the current pro-illegal backers. Deportations would be 10 x higher.
I don't understand the president's comments that the university promotes diversity. Does that also mean killers, shoplifters, pedos? So now we have to be inclusive of criminals?
Well, that would certainly be true diversity. Unfortunately, "diversity" today only means diverse skin color. True diversity would include fat and skinny people, short and tall, all religions, geeks and athletes, criminals and non criminals, kids from two parent homes and from one parent homes, etc, etc.

Exactly. Back in NY, we used to play Nazis and Jews. The Nazi's would run after the Jews with fake gas canisters and try to "catch" them.
It was just a game (nobody actually caught or killed any Jews) and still, some morons managed to get upset. These fools didn't realize that it was just a game and probably never played one themselves.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - A conservative student group at the University of Texas cancelled their "Catch an Illegal Immigrant Game" on Tuesday, saying they feared retaliation by campus officials and counter-protests that could endanger their volunteers.
They need to make the game more realistic. Since undocumented, or "illegal", immigrants do not wear signs in real life, then the game should entail detaining every student who looks like Lorenzo Garcia and requiring him to prove his status every time he is detained. On the way to class, on the way to the student union, at the Longhorn games, in his dorm room, at his campus job,and so on and so forth.
Seriously now, it does not matter how high a fences or deep a moat is put around the borders, so long as small business continues to hire illegal workers, they will come.
