Contrary to what right wing nutjobs claim, Obama loves big business.
Don't tell them that though, all they know is what Limbaugh tells them, "he's a racist socialist Muslim who hates America, and he's Black!!!"
Can you give me the specific quotes where any conservative commentator or pundit made any racist comments about Obama's being black?
Why is it that we hear liberals talk about how utterly racist conservatives are about Obama, and yet we never actually see any of the racist comments about Obama?
It's been five years and two presidential campaigns. There have been dozens upon dozens of comments of how racist the conservatives are about Obama, and yet I haven't seen one single example of the actual racism occurring. The best they can come up with is taking some other derogatory thing and trying to cram racism into it. Like saying "Chicago" is racist or calling Susan Rice incompetent is racist. Or take one sign at a Tea Party rally and say it represents the entire movement.
It's always just talked about in an "everyone knows it" way. It's just common knowledge and widely accepted on the left. But for all the talk about it on the left, there should be abundant examples of it. But there aren't. Not only aren't there many examples of it, there aren't even a few examples of it.
I'm sure you can find plenty of racist stuff from Stormfront or whatever, but where are the examples from mainstream conservative leaders?
The best GOP president the past 100 years was Eisenhower. Reagen would be second IMO. All of the rest are almost near the bottom for rankings, save maybe the first Bush who I would give average.
Best Democratic presient would be FDR. Kennedy may be 2nd over Clinton but the former has some historical "hype" to go with him for obvious reasons.
The best Presidents (historically) were military men, save Lincoln. Teddy, Kennedy, Eisenhower, and Reagan. Most people don't know that he (Reagan) was in the Iowa reserves and commissioned officer in the 323rd Cavalry. I can't say that Clinton was a good president because of Glass-Steagall and perjury when lying to Congress (4 times).
Daddy Bush would qualify as fairly bad President IMHO. He began a war and then retreated with victory within his grasp, which led the way to his sons subsequent re-invasion, and our current (horrible) situation. His foreign policy was weak, and he laid the groundwork for the current war on the middle class. He was the conservative equivalent of a Carter (almost). At least he didn't cannibalize our defense, and got Russia to sign START.
48. Approve of way the following men handled their jobs as President?
70% Kennedy
61% Reagan
60% Clinton
53% Eisenhower
53% Roosevelt, Franklin
48% Bush 1
48% Roosevelt, Theodore
45% Truman
41% Obama
39% Ford
38% Carter
36% Bush 2
35% Johnson
25% Nixon
24% Wilson
23% Tafti
18% Hoover
16% Coolidge
14% Harding
14% McKinley
Kennedy was President for less than 3 years. Hardly long enough to be rated number 1. I'm guessing he got more sentimental votes than any of the other presidents that are listed. I think Eisenhower's interstate project has had more positive effect on American culture than any other in the past 60 years or so.

The Interstate Highway System enabled major manufacturers to move factories out of the big cities. A lot of good paying city jobs were lost to lower paid workers in small towns. The company I work for took massive advantage of that.
Great for the one tank towns, until they up and move again in ten or twenty years.
I am not disagreeing with you by any means, but I wanted to point this out.
