We got daily death counts in the Lame Street Media during the Bush administration. But, now that our Bumbler-in-Chief is in office, the increasing number of dead American warriors is being ignored. I sensed this but this story clearly lays it out. Read more @ Missing headlines: Obama’s Pentagon kills American troops

And there's this report that gives a clear pictures of our troops casualties @ http://www.defense.gov/news/casualty.pdf

Sadly. Just dry numbers but there are plenty of stories available on line that puts faces to them.

Typical. When Regan and Bush 1 were president, we always saw lines at soup kitchens on evening news. As soon as Clinton was elected, no more soup kitchen line stories.

Obama chose to escalate the Afghanistan War and the result has been that ~3/4ths of the deaths are on his watch and we are no closer to anything viable there. So of course the media has to ignore it.

Obama escalated Afghanistan because the cons chose to ignore it in favor of the war for oil.

There used to be a war in the Middle East. But obama had a peaceful dialogue with them and now there is peace. I went to Iran on vacation last week. It was great. You can even tour their green nuclear plants.

Bush started a war in Afghanistan, which I didn't have much of a problem with, but then he walked away a few months later to start a second one in Iraq that we never should have been in and put all our forces over there.

>600 soldiers died in Afghanistan during Bush, and >1700 have died under Obama.

<4200 died in Iraq under Bush, and >250 died in Iraq under Bush.

That means that under Bush, approx. 4800 troops died across both theaters. Under Obama, >1950 have died across both theaters.

Bush's Pentagon "killed more American troops" than Obama's has. Add to this the fact that Bush's administration is what got us over there in the first place and you have a seriously failed attempt to deflect the blame for conservatives getting our men and women in uniform killed over pointless conflicts.

Isn't it funny?

1. no reports of casualties

2. no reports on poverty in America

3. no reports on the homeless

The problems of soceity can only be discussed during republican administrations.
