Well I would love to visit Alaska and I guess it goes with the territory. Wouldn't want to be a bear's lunch that's for sure

I'm usually anti-gun and pro gun control, but when it comes to store employees I'd be in favor of them carrying a firearm with them for protection, especially if they're working night shifts and most definitely if they're working at a business that's in neighborhoods that have a high black population. You're just asking for trouble if you don't in these kinds of circumstances.

Metal detectors would help but buying them and staffing them is costly. The gun manufacturers should foot the bill IMO.

Why would a low wage worker protect Starbuck's cash? I would hope they would protect their own life first by being as cooperative with the criminals as possible.

Here's another thought, these guys often have help. One guy doesn't show his gun, just acts like he's a customer. If anyone gives his buddy any problems (like pulling a gun) he pulls his out and then people die for no reason.

There is no place for guns in society.

Some posters defend the gun free zone by stating they would not pull their handgun out to defend a cash register.

I would.

I wouldn't take the chance of an armed robber shooting me after I had complied with his wishes.

I train people in concealed carry. I have trained some police and many civilians. I have not seen where police show any better accuracy than trained everyday folks.
