saw an ad on youtube for this new show coming out and it has me wondering,,, is there really that big of a market for these things? or is this some kind of image projecting bs for social engineering? Whats with this programming? If thats your bag I apologize. Television programming seems an awful waste of potential.
That looked downright awful. Then again, so does every (un)reality television show I've seen. I'm sure it will be a smash hit. Further evidence of the decline of culture in America...
If they did this to black people, the show would be called racist? Why are you white people not "raisin' cane"...?
Because we know that every race has its uneducated morons, but it doesn't mean ALL of us are uneducated morons. If someone saw this and thinks it applies to EVERY white person... we just found the demographic this foolishness is aimed at, and you can't fix stupid. Why would black people "raise cane" if a show about ignorant blacks were put on TV? The rest of us are smart enough to know it doesn't mean ALL blacks are ignorant hicks, just a small minority (probably a smaller percentage than ignorant white trash makes up the Caucasian population.) Couple that with the simple fact that whites don't get to play the race card no matter how blatant it may be, and you have your answer.

The dumbing down of America is depressing, judging by the sheer amount of stupidity that passes for "television entertainment" these days.
It's no wonder that my television viewing is now limited to just live sports.

Indeed. They are universally awful. One might watch a handful of episodes here and there out of 1) boredom, or 2) just to say they did and can consequently offer genuine commentary. But to watch any of them out of habit, as in, "I can't wait for tomorrow night because Blankety Blank Reality Show is on," is beyond the pale.
If you really want a jolt to your heart, visit an entertainment forum sometime and see how many people seriously take this garbage for real as they offer insightful critique. Knowing such people live, breathe, and reproduce is enough to scare the beejebus out of you.
