As required by law, the White House delivered to Congress a report stating in Fiscal Year 2013, which ended on September 30, the US government spent $22,195,000,000 on climate change matters.
That's $22 billion that could have been spent cleaning up our park and roads. We could have hired 725,000 workers at $15 per hour last year for that much money. 725,000 workers off the ranks of the UE who would now be paying payroll taxes while cleaning up the environment.
But the AGW alarmists don't really care about the environment or the working class. They prefer to stuff the pockets of the rich and let the workers draw unemployment benefits and welfare.

Of course there is a hoax. East Anglia emails specifically details how the data needs to be massaged to get the results desired.
The IPCC lie that keeps getting revamped to promote their doom message to get more money. The global warming hoax that trapped two icebreakers in ice that wasn't supposed to be there because it had melted.

Intelligent people without an agenda know that extreme weather events do not support or deny the existence of AGW. The only thing that supports the existence of AGW is the trend towards warmer temperatures. No amount of denying can dispute the trending towards warmer temperatures. That this is cyclic and has happened for millions of years before us is really irrelevant because we weren't here to care. But now we are, and temperatures that rise too fast will make humanity extinct. Humanity did not get to the top of the food chain by NOT CARING if we live or if we die. The accumulation of wealth has killed our inbuilt instinct towards species survival. The more wealth... the less the survival instinct. I get that some of us don't care. Just have the stones to admit it. Besides... the bigger crime IS what has been done to the environment. Even if we stopped all polluting today, we will still see cancer become the instrument by which humanity is done in and we are taking the whales and the dolphins with us. Cancer is man-made, we have no cure for it, and if there is ever a cure, it won't be affordable by 99.99% of the population. Issues like AGW are the denyers way of deflecting concern from more important environmental issues.
