Who knows the true story on this guy. I think sexuality is more fluid and less black and white than our current culture perceives it. And I also think that it can be reinforced to some extent, in certain people, up to a certain age. But with so many variables, it really impossible to know this guy's sexuality or reasons without conducting some sort of experiment.

What first influenced Michael Glatze to leave the gay lifestyle and the 10 year relationship with another man was due to a health scare. At first he followed liberal Christian pro gay theology yet in time he became conservative and saw the gay lifestyle as a sin.

How many supposedly "heterosexual" married men and women left the heterosexual lifestyle to embrace the LGBT community?

I'll wager thousands - THOUSANDS - of times more the the other way around.

A few examples off the top of my head:

Former New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey. Married to a woman. Now in a relationship with a man.

Astronaut Sally Ride. Married to a man. Spent the rest of her life in a lesbian relationship with another woman.

Tennis star Billie Jean King. Was married to a man. Now proudly a lesbian.

I doubt if he would ever agree to being hooked up to a penile plethysmograph and shown videos of naked men, then naked women.

The poster doesn't realize that the party he/she thinks is still going on, ended in the 1950's.

You could hook people up to all sorts of things and feed them pictures for them to eyeball and stimulate them, and yes they would register an attraction. The whole point is controlling that nature and leading a spiritual life.

Some people exalt in a kind of lame triumphant validation when someone from the "other side" converts to "their side."

This has been going on for thousands of years.

The thesis of this thread is to show that a man who was supposedly gay (who knows, maybe he is bisexual?) has married a woman and is supposedly living a heterosexual lifestyle (who knows of their relationship is even consummated).

Big deal.

The author Oscar Wilde was married to a woman and fathered two sons. Despite that he knew his attraction was to other men.

By the way, I can list plenty of former Christians who left Christianity ... what does that prove?

Exactly, that's why we will never know for sure.
