give the global warming people their little ice age, drop the temps 10-20 degrees and watch them crying for more global warming.
Precisely why I want liberals to back off. They seem to think that throwing money at a problem makes the problem go away.

There is no problem, stop the hemorrhaging of money.

Supposedly, unless we find a way to cool the earth down or stabilize the temperature, trillions of dollars worth of coastal property is at risk.

Regardless of what humans do, the earth will do what the earth has always done.

Besides al-Gore doesn't seem to think its a problem since he bought not one, not two but three beach front homes.

Eh, to be honest, it's not something to be concerned about in the near future. The sea level is a bit slow to change.

Why so insulting? The only thing from NASA I can find in your post is the graph, under which are these words.

While average global temperature will still fluctuate from year to year, scientists focus on the decadal trend. Nine of the 10 warmest years since 1880 have occurred since the year 2000, as the Earth has experienced sustained higher temperatures than in any decade during the 20th century. As greenhouse gas emissions and atmospheric carbon dioxide levels continue to rise, scientists expect the long-term temperature increase to continue as well. The idiot is going to have a SOTU and talk about global warming with much of the US in a deep freeze.

Proof positive he is an idiot.

But I expected no less.

Still won't watch it, just more lies from a well-spoken and clean idiot spouting idiocy.

Why, yes! Everyone knows that the US is the epicenter of the planet, and if it's not happening in the US, it doesn't count and doesn't matter.

The Commander in Dolt might have to forgo any remarks about global warming. If he wants to say something about radiation poisoning on the west coast he could, but that would be alarmist and damage the west coast's economy.
Or there's the old standby about gun control, but that's going to be ignored by the people too. Maybe he can just do his March Madness brackets and get help from the audience. Lord knows he always does terrible picking the winning teams. Or issues.

Of course you are right, people cutting down the rain forest and planting grass and shrubs just isn't going to cut it.
