One of these stories pops up everyday and gets in one of the right wing web sites or all of them.. What a joke.

What makes you think that lady qualifies for a subsidy?

I don't!

CNN: No Obamacare subsidy for some low-income Americans - CNN.com

Subsidies are based on a formula set by law, applying to individuals with annual incomes of one to four times the poverty level -- or $11,490 to $45,960.
The only thing I can say is you are another poorly informed voter/Republican who has no concept of buying insurance every October-November. Have you ever once looked at the Kaiser Calculator or E-Healthinsurance.com? Report back once you do and tell us how much you would pay based on your family income, zip code, state, family members.

subsidizes health insurance to 300% of FPL compared to the ACA at 400% of FPL. Medicare is subsidized for everyone regardless of income as are Tricare and VA. When you throw in Medicaid for seniors you are looking at about $700 billion in subsidies. The ACA is around 100 billion but is also revenue neutral. The 700 billion for Medicare and the other programs comes right off the top of general tax revenues. The Republican base is the main beneficary of this bit of government largesse.
Obamacare is a failure, it has failed to lower premiums as promised, it has failed to insure the number of people we were promised it would, it has failed to improve our healthcare system in any way, it has failed to save anyone money, etc etc etc. The only thing the Democrat's Affordable Care Act has accomplished is kicking more people off of their health insurance than the number of people it actually insured.

HA. Hilarious.

So all old people are Republican? As are all former militry? And all poor people?

Man, you are almost as tricky with your rhetoric as Obama himself.

We aren't poorly informed, we just don't lie like you do.

I was one of the lucky guys who actually got to keep his policy, the premium has gone UP instead of me saving $2500 like your messiah promised every American family. My deductible has gone up like most people's have.

borregokid ignores the FACT that the main beneficiary of this Obamacare nightmare are the slack jawed, Obama voting Democrat morons who couldn't care less about costs because they don't pay for anything in life as it is.

GASP! Some of those poors might live longer!

Why dont we just go the other route, buy some showers and ovens, and start shipping poor people to them-starting with any that get sick.

MAGI is going to be a lot of people's new best friend (ish).

At the rate we're going I'm going to be called the "working poor" by Obama and friends and have a bunch of crap shoved in my face as a conciliation prize.

No just at least 51% of the base and 25% of the voting population. Ever taken a look at a Tea Party Rally or people who go to see Sarah Palin? Pretty hard to find anyone under 60...thats the Republican base. I guess you think its a bunch of college kids..LOL.

You do know you are talking about people who work for a living and make between $16,800 and $94,000 a year? The ACA was designed for people who work..as is the Republican plan.
