When you add up all the Federal benefits that these Republican counties receive from SS, Medicare, Tricare, VA, Govt Retirement Checks, Disabilty, Snap, EITC, SSI, . add on miliatry bases and other government jobs and it doesnt make any sense. The Republican Party is one big government check and yet they want small gubbermint.

Heres a link how a good part of the Tea Party types voted againt their interests.

What do you want to hear, that neither party is fiscally responsible and both parties view washingtons coffers just like a rolled over brinks truck in harlem?

It would be nice if the Tea Party types admitted they were a bunch of hypocrites between their triple-bypasses courtesy of Medicare...that they never paid for.

Because in cities, you are surrounded by public things. Things are privatized in rural areas. Therefore, rural people are in favor of republicans, who favor privatization.

im guessing its on social issues and guns. The republicans definitely dont have their economic interest at hand. Who knows? Rural America is a tight place that is very misguided in their voting, but what can you do? All our votes count the same.

He's quoting rednecks in flyover country with 'gubbermint'. You guys, on the other hand, frequently misspell roles/rolls, there, they're, their, to, too, and incorrectly make a plural noun a possessive noun (we are all American's as opposed to the correct way: we are all Americans)

For some reason republicans don't see the military spending as a bad thing even though it dwarfs a lot of other spending. They see it as they're providing a service. I mean its very convenient thinking because if you tell then Medicare provides a service they think it's not the same thing.

My old home small town in Texas wouldn't survive without the local school district which is huge and employs the most people there. Its a top district in the State and has amazing worker benefits, yet the many conservative workers will sit there and tell you government can run jack! LOL.

It's really strange thinking.
