Seems like a good idea. Hopefully it will gain some traction.

Democrats to Republicans: En garde!

I enjoy the game but am not a fan of any side or person.

Perhaps, but saying no to $10.10 would seem to be a bad position to defend.

Only about 2% of the population earns the minimum wage. This is just a political pandering, and a sop to unions; people want jobs. We have tens of millions of unemployed, and forcing employers to give low skilled employees more money is not going to inspire them to run out and hire more people.

Pandering to the lucky few who already have jobs, is not going to help those desperately looking for work. In fact it will eat into the already tight budgets of some business owners and cause them to cut back on employee hours, or to layoff people.

The prudent thing to do is write legislation to lessen the tax and regulatory burden on the private sector so the economy can recover, but that won't happen for three more years at least. All Obama does is create confusion and chaos, forcing everyone to hunker down and wait out the storm.

How many successful businesses have you owned?

Why do people like you constantly want to tell others what to do?

So just make it $15.15, how do you expect parents to raise a family off $10.10 an hour.

Actually, it should be tied to Cost of Living and be adjusted accordingly.
