True. The Delaware River has been clogged with ice and it is resulting in flooding. Never seen anything like it in all my life. Global warming? No. Global "climate change" I guess that is who you ask. For me, I am sick of arctic tundra in NJ.

There are millions of Americans right now, that wish global warming wasn't a hoax.

Makes the case for obesity during the winters.

Little chilly in my neck of the woods also this week. -41 at my brother's place yesterday morning.
At my house it was a little warmer, -30, but I had a 10 MPH wind so the windchill factor put the temperature at -55 F.

This keeps up I am going to break out my long handle underwear

Got to admit though, we live in Montana, so it isn't that unusual

Global Warming Burning Up The Planet--Great Lakes Record Ice Cover
Why, yes! Everybody knows that the Great lakes are the Entire Global Planet!
Never mind the polar vortex shifting much colder air further south because of decreasing arctic ice. Ignore all that.
If it's cold outside my front door, there's no global warming.

Unbelievable. I give up.

One must be careful not the confuse weather and climate. Do not get me wrong, the Ceists/Historian Dudes/David Suzukis of the world have bought into the global warming religion hook, line, and sinker, but weather extremes happen every year. For example, we just take daily temperature and precipitation data, a weather station that has been in operation for 50 years have an almost 100% chance of setting at least one new record this year.

Both sides are pretty ignorant at times. eg: Cliff Mass Weather Blog: Extreme Silliness

What it amounts to is weather porn, whereby both sides sex up the extreme weather to somehow try to prove that the weather is getting more extreme - either extreme to the cold or hot.

Of course, the pro-AGW side is worse because they should know better. It is almost impossible to find an article these days that doesn't insert at least one lie or half truth into the report. Here is the latest piece of alarmist rhetoric.

Global warming is a nonsense argument. It's a loose theory at best.

However, to claim that ice-cold temps of the now, disproves this loose theory, is an epic display of ignorance. This thread has clearly been created to feed off of people who dropped out of school. Sad.

No more than 2 or 3 warm years proves AGW.
